Warranty Policy

Warranty Overview:

We’re grateful that you choose The Light Elves for your Christmas light installation needs! We are committed to ensuring that your holiday season is filled with joy and beautifully lit surroundings. We stand behind our work and the quality of the products we use. This warranty outlines the terms and conditions of our guarantee to provide you with peace of mind throughout the holiday season.

 

Coverage Details:

  • Light Strands: We guarantee that the Christmas light strands we sell and install are free from defects in materials and workmanship at the time of installation. In the event of any issues with the light strands, such as non-functioning sections or damage, please notify us immediately during the coverage period, and we will promptly address the problem.
     

  • Installation Setup: We take great care in ensuring that your Christmas lights are safely and securely installed. If you notice any issues with the installation setup, such as loose or unstable connections, please contact us promptly. We will dispatch a technician to address the problem and make any necessary adjustments.

 

Installation:

 

Our installation is only guaranteed for the duration of one Christmas light season.  The ‘season’ begins from the fall install and ends the same calendar year. 

**Note: We experience limited staff availability after December 23rd  which will result in delays in addressing service requests during this time.  Any warranty concerns should be addressed before December 23.

Customer Responsibilities:

 

To ensure a smooth and enjoyable holiday season, we encourage our customers to be proactive in reporting any issues with the Christmas lights, strands, bulbs, or installation setup.

 

In particular, please take note of the following:

  • Communication: To avoid any service delays, please report any issues to us as soon as they arise. We may experience limited staff availability after December 23rd  due to the holiday season, which could result in delays in addressing service requests during this time.

  • Maintenance: Please follow the care and maintenance instructions provided by our team or in the product documentation to ensure the longevity of your Christmas lights. Regularly check for loose connections and secure them if needed.

 

Exclusions:

 

This warranty does not cover damage or issues resulting from:

  • Misuse or neglect: Any improper handling, storage,  modification, or tampering with the installed Christmas lights or their components.

  • Acts of nature: Damage caused by severe weather conditions, including but not limited to heavy rain, snow, wind, or natural disasters.
